DRAG RACING BATTERIES
The below are our 16V drag racing batteries. We have two models, and two 16V charger models. All of these batteries are designed for total loss applications, though they can be run with an alternator if desired.
Note: Voltphreaks 16V batteries should only be charged with Volpthreaks 16 volt chargers. If running with an alternator, adjust alternator output to between 17.0 - 18.0 volts.

Our "VPR" series batteries below are designed for endurance use (higher capacity), and made to fit standard battery sizes. Higher quality parts are used throughout. All cases are custom designed for lightest possible weight while fitting the required size.
The VPR series are our lightest battery in terms of energy density (Amp-Hours per pound). If you require larger Amp-hour capacity than our "VPH" line, and the lightest possible weight, when not just pounds matter but ounces, these batteries are your solution.

The "VPH" series are the most popular Voltphreaks batteries. The main thing the battery needs to do is start the car. Once the engine is running, the alternator supplies the power. The chart below breaks up the various Voltphreaks models by the size of the recommended engine they can start.
These are general recommendations, what is best for you can depend on if you have a harder or easier to crank/start engine, if you use your car in a warm or cold climate, engine displacement, compression, etc.
- VPH300 = motorcycles, easy to start 4-cylinder engines, etc
- VPH750 = most 6-cylinder engines,(Exige, most M3s and Porsches*)
- VPH900 = 8-cylinder, some 10-cylinder engines (M3, Porsche*, Corvette)
- VPR SERIES = For hardest to start 10-cylinder+ engines (M5, etc), or if you want spare power/capacity, and better capacity/weight ratio than the VPH series.
