This Competition intercooler has the following core size (550mm x 210mm x 110mm / stepped = 12.70L), providing a 230% larger frontalarea and 190% more volume compared to the original intercooler.
Wagner-Tuning "Competition" Core with high cooling performance and light weight (5,0kg). Optimised by CAD, the new competition-high-speed core and cast aluminium end tanks give this intercooler excellent cooling properties. Flow analyses and simulations were created to optimise the design for best possible Internal Airflow. This intercooler is the best choice when it comes to performance gains and low intake temperatures. A lot less pressure drop then OEM Intercooler. Anti Corrosion protective Coating with perfect thermal heat dissipating character. Optimal cooling with clearly more power. Kit is ready for installation, 100% perfect fit. Fitment is easy, replacing the OEM intercooler. All of our products undergo rigorous quality control. On both sides the connection diameter is 55mm.

The high performance intercooler core provides a 30% larger frontal area and 47% more volume compared to the stock intercooler. Our engineers have increased the intercooler core size and efficiency, as well as improved the end tank design to remove any OEM bottlenecks, resulting in increased flow rating and charge cooling properties. Despite of it?s size the weight of the complete intercooler is only 9,65kg. Constructed of the highest quality Tube and Fin intercooler cores with inside turbulators combined with cast aluminium end tanks optimised by CFD for best possible internal airflow. This intercooler kit is the best choice when it comes to performance gains and low intake temperatures. Directly designed for the high requirements of Mini Cooper S JCW.
